Joe's Boot Shop Roping

The Joe's Boot Shop Roping is one of the most prestigious calf-ropings in the nation. Co-sanctioned with the United States Calf Roping Association (USCRA), their were hometown ropers as well as competitors from as far away as Missouri and Florida! Joe Rhodes and all of the employees at Joe's Boot Shop put on a great show with more entries than ever before!
The Miss Rodeo New Mexico Pageant held the 1st Annual JBS Roping Dummy Roping for kids 15 and under. We had more entries than we expected and gave buckles to the individuals who roped the most as we moved them back away from the dummy. A big Thank You to all who entered the roping.
I also would like to thank everyone who made my stay in Clovis so hospitable. I truly enjoyed myself as Miss Rodeo New Mexico at the JBS Roping in Clovis, New Mexico.
The winner's of the Miss Rodeo New Mexico Dummy Roping. They definitely had their eyes on the prize!
Colton was the only roper to catch everything! Trevor Brazile watch out, he may out rope you some day!
Logan Medlin, one of our esteemed judges, watching over the activities.

Bethany Sweat, now the Miss Rodeo New Mexico-Teen, and myself before the Chuck Wagon Cook-Off in Clovis.

After a long day of roping, all I wanted to do was sing! So Ashlee Stallings, MRNM 2007 and myself went to the Buddy Holly Rock-N-Roll Museum in Clovis. Thanks for the note check Ash!
