The Wild Wild West ProRodeo

Awwww…..the Wild Wild West ProRodeo in Silver City, New Mexico. I must say that this is one of my favorite rodeos to attend in my fair state. Last year I came as Miss Turquoise Circuit, but this year I was able to represent the Land of Enchantment as Miss Rodeo New Mexico and ‘hang-out’ with my good friend, MTC 2009 Audrey Hall of Yuma, Arizona. Carol Crosley and Pat Bearup, Chairman of the WWWPR Committee, were again so generous to host Audrey and myself as visiting royalty for the events. We signed autographs, thanked sponsors, and talked with everyone! At a couple of the Autograph Signings, we were able to spend time with some of the contract personnel of the PRCA rodeo; let me be the first to tell you-keep your eye on those Rodeo Clowns! John Harrison was extremely entertaining during any ‘down-time’ that we might have had, and those Bullfighters sure don’t cut queens any slack either! Thank you to John, Dusty, and Kenny for keeping us on our toes! Silver City hosted “Living Legend” Trevor Brazile as well as Will Lowe and many more that started their summer runs and what an outstanding rodeo the Classic ProRodeo Stock Contractor and the WWWPR Committee put on. The committee really utilized Audrey and I at the rodeo, chasing cattle out of the arena, talking with fans in the stands, and of course signing autographs!!! Hopefully I can make it back for the rodeo next year!!!
Why Hello there!
'High-fiving' the crowd!!! Man I love this job!!

Enjoying the rodeo with a PRCA Contestant; I wonder if he knows the 'get-out'?

My buddy, Audrey and me chowing down on some good 'ol Mexican Food!

We found some goodies at the Circle Heart Western Wear Store; Pat, that's not very nice!

Our friend, Carlos, enjoying the Exceptional Rodeo Thursday evening before the performance.

These are the people that REALLY make it possible to rodeo in Silver City. Thank you, Thank you, Thank YOU!

A big Thank You to my sponsor, Dr. Snure!!!

PRCA Announcer Mike Mathis, Miss Turquoise Circuit Audrey Hall, and myself, with the next generation of cowboys! They were more excited than they looked.

What a crew if I ever saw one!!!

Yeah, I got her for looking too good in Wranglers in public. She will have a lot of time to think about it!

Chalk one up for New Mexico!

Believe it or not, I was on a roll!

I hope your not looking at my huge red spot on my forehead from my hat, because everyone there sure gave me heck about it!! Its not funny, us queens are sensitive about the topic!

The PRCA Hall of Famers, the Harris' and myself at the pre-rodeo reception. What wonderful people they are!

The two women that made our stay in Silver City so hospitable. Thank you both for all of your hardwork and dedication to the sport of rodeo and the western way of life!!

Happy Trails from the "gang" in Silver City, NM!!
